Great perspective

Cool shot, Mike. I like the point of view and perspective distortion and how you placed the light standard/street signs in front of these architectural classics/icons. This is a great subject for B&W--creates a timeless feel to the shot. The tones are a bit flat and muddy and could use some separation and a boost in contrast (such as brightening the two buildings and darkening the light standard) which would create more depth and pop to the image. While I like the perspective distortion, the bit of building peeking into the shot in the upper right corner is a distraction--either more of it or none of it should be showing--I'd suggest cloning it out. Hope my comments don't sound harsh--it's a solid shot--a true classic. I'd love to have the opportunity to photograph NYC as you are able. It's definately on our must visit list!!
